When tasked with creating a complete relocatable furniture solution for a confidential pharmaceutical client, laboratory furniture specialists, W.E. Marson, designed the SMARTLab system to adapt to the ever-changing requirements of the modern laboratory environment.

The Marson team worked with OE to create a custom service mast that would offer multiple power outlets, all with individual switches.
Marson’s bench-mounted service masts are designed to meet specific electrical and gas requirements in the laboratory environment. OE assisted the build by pre-wiring RCD protected electrical sockets and thoroughly testing each one in-house. These were then installed into the pre-machined cut-outs in the bench surface on site.
OE also supplied PATHFINDER, a flexible cable management solution to bring cables down from the ceiling infrastructure, and QIKTRAY, OE’s simple, durable cable tray to keep all cables neatly housed at the lower level.
