QIKDOC: How it works
Add QikDoc to furniture and use the battery to power multiple users around a table
Two ways to specify the dock...
Screw Mount
Mounts to the underside of the table edge (no cut out)
Clamp Mount
Mounts into the table surface
Requires table cut out
QIKDOC CONNECT
QIKDOC CONNECT uses power from the docked battery to power additional USB ports in the furniture.
QIKDOC CONNECT is helpful when you want to provide USB ports to multiple users around a table.

QIKDOC LOCATE

Clamp Mount (in surface mount)
QIKDOC LOCATE simply provides a secure home for your QIKPAC CARRY battery to hold it in place. It does not provide any additional power or USB ports.
QIKDOC LOCATE is helpful where designers want to keep the table surface clear or to avoid the battery being knocked off a table (particularly useful in mobile training tables.)
Cables
The Animate system uses GST08 cables.
These cables are included in the typicals above.
PORT & PICCOLO
The GST08 cables are a separate item in the kit and need to be connected to the unit and the QikDoc on site.
PIP²
The 2 x GST08 cables are pre-wired into the unit so are not listed separately in the kit. They just need to be connected to the QikDoc on site.
GST08 Locking Clips
When connecting GST08 cables, a locking clip can be used for a more secure fit.
Locking clips are provided in each typical and listed separately in the kits.
