CASE STUDY
Four Square Furniture
The new library design at Long Road sixth form college presented a unique challenge to Four Square Furniture: providing a consistent power solution for student devices in various study locations. The solution required a scalable and reliable power source that could be easily integrated into the new designs. After careful consideration, QIKPAC CARRY was chosen as part of the solution due to its ability to provide a consistent power source.

about this project
The implementation of mobile power helped overcome several challenges, primarily the lack of fixed and safe cabled and viable mains power in the planned locations. By using QIKPAC CARRY, the need for costly and potentially messy chasing of floors and additional power installations was avoided. This reduced the extent of works, the programme, and importantly, kept the disruption in the busy space to a minimum. As a result, the project was delivered during term time, minimizing the impact on students and staff.
Four Square specified OE due to their trusted ability to meet both portable and fixed power solutions required on the project. Additionally, OE provided testing and warranties to support the solution, giving the project team confidence in the reliability and performance of the power solution.
“A consistent power solution was required to be available for student devices within the variety of new study locations within the new library design and QIKPAC provided a scalable and consistent solution”
