They’re cheat sheets that show you how much carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases were emitted during the whole life of a product – from making it, using it, and even when it’s thrown away or recycled; tracking the product’s carbon footprint from the moment it’s built to the day it’s recycled.
